Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
Your privacy is the product: we share your details only with the pros you approve, never sell them, and use AI carefully. Here is exactly what we collect and why.
1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information YourLead collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to yourleadnow.com, our apps and related services. By using YourLead you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us: name, email, phone, address (project location), account details, business and license details (Pros), payment method details (handled by our payment provider, we do not store full card numbers), project descriptions and photos, messages, reviews and ratings, support conversations and callback requests.
Information collected automatically: device and browser data, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, actions in the app, cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies), and diagnostic logs.
Information from other sources: public licensing and business records (to verify Pros and to create unclaimed profile pages), payment provider results, sign-in providers you choose (for example Google), and platforms you ask us to import reviews from.
3. How we use information
To run the marketplace: create and verify accounts, write and check project briefs, match projects to Pros, run auctions, share a Homeowner's contact details with the Pros who win their project, enable chat, meetings and hiring, process balance top-ups and refunds, and pay referral credits.
To keep it safe: verify identity and licenses, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, judge refund requests, and moderate content.
To communicate: transactional emails, in-app notifications and SMS (verification codes, project and auction updates, messages, callbacks you asked for), and marketing you have agreed to receive.
To improve the service: analytics, product research, and training and evaluating our AI features on de-identified or aggregated data where possible.
AI processing: some features (project briefs, matching, refund review, support assistant, review authenticity checks) use AI models operated by third-party providers under contract. We send them only the data needed for the feature and do not allow them to use your data to train their models for others.
4. How we share information
With the other side of a project: when a Pro wins your project, that Pro receives your name, phone, project address and brief. Pros' public pages (business name, trades, license status, reviews, photos, ratings) are visible to everyone. Homeowner ratings given by Pros are shown to other Pros only in aggregate.
With service providers that work for us: hosting and databases, payment processing, email and SMS delivery, maps and geocoding, analytics, AI providers, customer support tools. They may only use data to provide their service to us.
For legal reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization (with notice to you).
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share Homeowner contact details with anyone other than the Pros matched to that Homeowner's project.
5. SMS and calls
We send SMS only to numbers you provided and only for account and project purposes (for example one-time codes, new-lead or outbid alerts, messages) or with your consent for marketing. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or change preferences in Account → Notifications. If you request a call back through support we call the number you gave us for that request only.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics or similar) to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies may break sign-in.
7. Retention
We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, dispute and fraud-prevention needs. Project, message and payment records are kept as needed for those purposes. Unclaimed profile pages built from public records are removed on request. You can ask us to delete your account through Account settings or support; we will delete or de-identify data unless we must keep it by law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can access and update most information in your account. Depending on where you live (for example California or another U.S. state with a privacy law) you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to opt out of certain sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Make a request through the support assistant; we will verify your identity and respond within the time the law allows. Where applicable, you can also designate an authorized agent.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email and from marketing SMS by replying STOP.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring and reputable providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you we will notify you as required by law.
10. Children
YourLead is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact support and we will delete it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the new version is posted here with a new date, and material changes are announced in the app or by email. Privacy questions and requests: use the support assistant, which routes them to a person.
