Terms of Use

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. They describe how the YourLead marketplace works and the rules for Homeowners, businesses and Pros who use it.

1. Who we are and what YourLead does

YourLead ("YourLead", "we", "us") operates an online marketplace at yourleadnow.com that connects people who need home, property or construction services ("Homeowners", including businesses posting projects) with independent professionals and companies that provide them ("Pros"). YourLead is a platform, not a contractor: we do not perform, supervise or guarantee any work, and Pros are not our employees, agents or partners.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the website, apps and services. By creating an account or using YourLead you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy and, for Pros, the Offer Policy. If you use YourLead on behalf of a company you confirm you can bind that company.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter contracts. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password confidential and for everything done under your login. Tell us right away through support if you suspect unauthorized use.

Pros must provide accurate business information (legal name, license, insurance where applicable, service area, trades). We verify Pros against public records and may ask for documents; we can decline, suspend or remove a Pro account at our discretion, including for expired licenses, complaints, or misrepresentation.

We may create unclaimed profile pages for licensed businesses from public records so Homeowners can find them. The business can claim the page (set a password), edit it, or ask us to remove it at any time through support.

3. How projects, matching and auctions work

Homeowners describe a project; our AI helps write a project brief, pick the trade and check the request. Verified Pros whose trades and service area match are notified and can compete for the project in a time-limited auction or by using "Buy now". A limited number of Pros (typically up to three) win the right to contact the Homeowner.

AI-generated briefs, match scores, tips and estimates are aids, not promises. Homeowners must review their brief before publishing; Pros must read the brief before bidding. YourLead is not responsible for errors in AI-generated content that a user had the opportunity to review.

Winning a project gives a Pro the Homeowner's contact details and a chat. It is not a contract for the work. Any agreement about scope, price, schedule, permits, insurance and payment for the actual work is between the Homeowner and the Pro. YourLead is not a party to it and does not hold or process payments for the work itself.

4. Fees, balance, top-ups and refunds (Pros)

Posting a project and hiring is free for Homeowners. Pros pay YourLead only for leads they win (auction price or Buy now price) from a prepaid balance. Lost bids are not charged. Balance top-ups are processed by our payment providers (for example Stripe; card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Balance is a prepaid credit for YourLead services, not a bank deposit, and does not earn interest.

Refunds for a won lead can be requested from the project within the window shown in the app (for example when the contact details were wrong or the project was not genuine). Requests are reviewed, an automated first review followed by a person where needed, and approved refunds are returned to your YourLead balance. Unused balance can be refunded to the original payment method on request through support, less amounts already spent. Promotional credits (for example referral or first-lead credits) are not refundable and expire as stated when granted.

Prices, fees and promotional programs may change; changes apply to new leads and top-ups after we post them.

5. Homeowner responsibilities

Post only genuine projects for property you own or are authorized to act for, with a real phone number and address. Do not use YourLead to solicit Pros for anything other than the posted work. You decide whom to hire; check licenses, insurance and references as you would with any contractor, and get agreements in writing.

6. Pro responsibilities

Keep your license, insurance and business details current; comply with all laws that apply to your trade, including licensing, permitting, consumer-protection and telemarketing rules. Contact Homeowners only about the project you won, respect a request to stop, and never share, resell or transfer lead data. Do not create multiple accounts to gain an advantage in auctions.

7. Reviews, ratings and content

Users may post reviews, ratings, photos, messages and other content. You grant YourLead a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use that content to operate and promote the service. Content must be truthful, yours to share, and free of anything unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or private about others. Reviews imported from other platforms are checked and labelled; we may remove content that violates these Terms.

Pros can rate Homeowners after a hire; only aggregate ratings are shown to other Pros. Homeowners can rate Pros after a hire; reviews are shown on the Pro's public page. We do not sell reviews or ratings and do not accept payment to alter them.

8. Communications

By creating an account you agree to receive transactional emails, in-app notifications and, where you provided a mobile number, SMS related to your account and projects (for example verification codes, new-lead alerts, outbid alerts, messages). Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out of SMS, or change your preferences in Account → Notifications. Marketing messages are sent only with your consent and include an unsubscribe option.

9. Prohibited use

You may not: scrape or bulk-download the site or its data; use bots to bid; misrepresent yourself or your business; circumvent fees; harass anyone; upload malware; infringe intellectual property; or use YourLead for any unlawful purpose. We may investigate and take action, including suspending accounts and reporting to authorities.

10. Intellectual property

YourLead, its logo, software, design and content are owned by YourLead or its licensors and protected by law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation.

11. Disclaimers

YourLead is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that a project will receive bids, that a Pro will be hired, the quality, safety, legality or timeliness of any work, or the accuracy of user-provided or AI-generated information. Verification reduces risk but does not eliminate it. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YourLead and its owners, officers, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from any work, product or interaction between users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to YourLead in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify YourLead against claims, damages and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, your work or projects, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

14. Termination

You can close your account at any time from Account settings or through support. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, pose risk to others, or are inactive for an extended period. On termination, unspent purchased balance can be refunded on request as described above; promotional credits lapse. Sections that by their nature should survive (fees owed, content licence, disclaimers, limitations, disputes) survive termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim you agree to contact us through support and try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
